1 How soon can I walk on the carpet?
Try to keep pet, children, and heavy traffic off the carpet during the drying process. Wait 24 hours before removing styrofoam blocks or protective tabs placed under furniture. Some carpets may feel slightly damp for up to 18 hours depending on carpet and soil conditions. This is normal.
2 How long does the carpet cleaning process take?
We clean approximately 400 square feet per hour. This can vary depending on soil amount, furniture that needs moving, specialty spotting procedures, and setup time.
3 What is Hot Water Extraction? (Steam Cleaning)
Hot water extraction means hot water cleaning solution, under high pressure, is forced into your carpet and then drawn out. Some call this steam cleaning, but it doesn't use steam. Our truck-mounted system cleans from the bottom up, not the top down.
4 How often should I have my carpet cleaned?
One to two times per year is recommended. This keeps pollutants out of your home. The longer dirt sits, the greater risk of it being tracked throughout and creating a sandpaper effect that causes premature wear.
5 How long will it take to clean my carpets?
On average, approximately 20 minutes per room. This varies depending on soil level and spot removal treatments needed.
6 Do I need to move my furniture?
Not necessarily. Pieces like bookcases, entertainment centers, and beds that stay in place don't need moving. Our crews are professionally trained to assist with furniture that needs to be moved. We suggest removing breakable items from tabletops.
